What is "The Fratority"?

Name: The name of this organization shall be "THE VIRGIN MARY FRATORITY" also known as "The Fratority"

The Purpose: of this organization shall be to:

  1. Promote the spiritual welfare of the memebrs of "The Fratority" in accordance with the religious teachings and practices of the Catholic Church.
  2. Develop among its members a spirit of leadership, cooperation and devotion to the welfare of the Parish.
  3. Foster the observance of periodic corporate Communion.
  4. Draw members together for social and cultural purposes.
  5. Support the Reverend Pastor in his duties as shephard oh his flock.

The Membership of "The Fratority" shall consist of married couples who will promise to abide by the constitution of this organization and the teaching of the Catholic Church. The couple, or one of them, must be a member of the Church of the Virgin Mary and must have the approval of the Reverend Pastor. In the event of the death of one of the couple, or the separation of the couple, the remaining spouse, upon continues payment of dues, will be able to remain a member in good standing of "The Fratority".

The Officers of  "The Fratority" shall consist of a President, a Vice-President, a Recording Secretary, a Corresponding Secretary and a Treasurer. The Club moderator shall be either the Reverend Pastor or any one that he may apppoint. The duty of the moderator shall be to guide the "Fratority" according to the percepts as listed above in The "Purpose".

The Duties of the President shall be to preside at all official meetings of this organzation. The President shall consult the moderator in planning a spiritual and a social calnedar to present to the membership. The President shall also appoint committees as he may deem neccessary and in accordance to the majority of the membership.
